potty mouths and plates (with sylvia Bell ceramics)
These knobbly pots and plates were hand built by Sylvia Bell Ceramics. The forms and surfaces really push the glaze pencil and paint on their own, suggesting the contours and tones of leathery skin. In addition, I used one plate to depict a moment of the History Lesson.
All are available for exhibition.
